La Riippa Group derives From the west coast of Finland and has its roots deep in the soil of Ostrobothnian traditional musicianship but travel far and wide in their musical interpretation. The aery arrangements carry the stories that are sung both in English and the dialect from the village of Nedervetil.

La Riippa Group released their debut album ”Dirty Work” in 2018 and it was received with beautiful remarks, their music traveling on the international radiostations. In 2021 LRG took part of the award-winning international digital collaboration "Global Music Match" and they will release their second album ”Bara Dalagubba” in 2022.

 

The band consists of five members:
Jessica Riippa, Julia Hansson, Johanna Lönngren, Valter Söderbacka, Oskar Sandin
