We offer high quality live music in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all. Every Friday and Saturday evening during our spring and fall season, we offer our music loving audience in Vasa, concerts in a wide range of genres. This includes jazz, blues, funk, latin, country and so much more. And at our bar, we sell different types of fluid refreshments. Find out more about our upcoming events <a href=\"https:\/\/doobop.fi\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Our History<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Doo-Bop Club is a non-profit organization that originally started as a jazz club in 1995, but has today evolved into a place where all kinds of music and art can call home. Many talented local and international musicians and artists have stood on the Doo-Bop Club stage, where they performed and perfected their craft. Many local artists have also contributed in running the organization as volunteers, keeping the club&#8217;s non-profit spirit alive for over 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>The Doo-Bop Club heart always beats for live music. But many other forms of art find their place in the club. During our off-season we can offer visitors events with focus on theater, art, book-releases, electronic music etc. We even offer our walls for art exhibitions for talented local artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During our years, we have had the honor of hosting many famous artists on our stage, including Peter Erskinne, Terry Lynn Carrington, Ari Hoening, Nils Landgren, Janne Schaffer, Toninho Horta, Bo Kaspers Orkester and many more!<\/p>\n<p>The Doo-Bop Club would not exist in its current form without external funding, so we&#8217;re extremely grateful for the long term financial support we&#8217;re received by Svenska Kulturfonden, Vasa Stad, Konstsamfundet, Harry Schaumans stiftelse and Nygrens stiftelse.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Vision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our vision is to be a home for high-quality live performances and creative expression\u2014an open, welcoming space where artists and audiences connect. We see ourselves as a cultural center in the heart of Vasa, where creative minded people can meet and be inspired together.
