Sandberg/Bäckström/Nylund consists of Mathias Sandberg - guitar, Jonathan Bäckström - bass and Benjamin Nylund - drums. This up-and-coming trio was formed in early 2023 and together they have been exploring their trio sound in front of a live audience during the past months. No rehearsals. Since recently joining NATO, their repertoire consists of songs from the great American songbook including compositions by Horace Silver, Cedar Walton, John Coltrane, Chick Corea, Charlie Parker etc.
