This collaboration started back in 2014 when a recording session was made for The National Radio Broadcasting Company in Finland, YLE. The music the duo performs can be described as modern mainstream jazz with a focus on their own compositional works.
Some of Finland’s most versatile och virtous musicians bring their own personal touch to the wonderful music of Pekka Pohjola.

Raya Black:
Raya Black is a duo project formed by Rebecca Varhama and Alexander Hindsberg. Their music is melancolic and progressive with an electronic vibe. 2017 they released their first single ”There’s a place (part 1)”. Currently they’re working on new material for an EP which they hope to release within 2018. But before that they will release ”There’s a place (part 2)” which is a follow-up for part 1.
